Brancou Badio leaves Valencia Basket

Senegalese shooting guard Brancou Badio has parted ways with Valencia Basket following the payment of the full buyout clause in his contract, bringing an end to his tenure at the Club after two seasons in which he helped secure the Liga Endesa and Supercopa Endesa titles.

The Club wishes to thank Brancou for his professionalism, commitment, and hard work while representing Valencia Basket, and wishes him the best in his future endeavors, both professionally and personally.

The player joined our men's first team from Baxi Manresa in the summer of 2024 and played a total of 145 games for Valencia Basket. In his debut season—which included his first appearance in the EuroCup—Brancou averaged 10.1 points (shooting 38% from three-point range), 2.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, earning a performance index rating of 9.6.

 During his second season—the one that has just concluded—the Senegalese international guard signed a contract extension through 2029 in April; he was a key figure in Valencia Basket winning its second Liga Endesa title. Across the 83 games he played in the 2025-26 campaign, Badio averaged 10.6 points (shooting 33.4% from three-point range), 2.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists, with a performance index rating of 9.0.
